Foster the excitement of collecting and learning about rocks using these inexpensive kits. Students receive five representative rocks and minerals from Wisconsin: red granite (the official state rock), sandstone, dolomite, purple quartzite, plus a fifth of our choice. Also included is a single copy of a three-page sheet describing interesting details about each rock type in the collection plus a brief background about rocks and minerals. The explanation may be freely copied for your students.

Kits arrive with some assembly required. That is, we send five bags of rocks (one for each rock type) containing the number of rocks equal to the number of kits ordered.
