WAYLANDITE (Bi, Ca)Al3(PO4,SiO4)2(OH)6 Hexagonal

Description: Waylandite is a dull to glassy white mineral that occurs rarely iin pegmatites with other bismuth-bearing minerals.

DODGE COUNTY : Waylandite occurs as very tiny crystals in vugs with bismuth, kettnerite and other minerals in pegmatite cutting quartzite in the Michels Materials Waterloo Quarry, NE sec. 33 and NW sec. 34 T.9N. R.13E. (Buchholz et. al. , 2007b)
